This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and shared when you use Garden Words ("the App"), available on Google Play for Android devices. By downloading or using the App, you agree to this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Garden Words is a relaxing word puzzle game. We do not run our own servers that collect your personal information, and your game progress (your garden, streaks, and in-game currency) is stored locally on your device. The App uses third-party services — Google AdMob (advertising), Google Firebase / Google Analytics (usage analytics), Unity (game engine), and Google Play (app distribution and subscriptions) — and these services collect certain data according to their own privacy policies.
The App does not require you to create an account, and we do not collect your name, email, or other directly identifying information through the App itself.
Your game data — including your garden, plants, streaks, in-game currency, settings, and whether you have an active Garden Pro subscription — is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
Google AdMob (advertising): The App displays ads provided by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and process data such as your device's advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and app-usage data in order to serve and measure ads. In particular, Google AdMob may use a device advertising identifier to serve and measure ads. Google Firebase / Google Analytics (usage analytics): The App uses Google Firebase, including Google Analytics for Firebase, to understand how the App is used — for example, which daily puzzles are completed, streak milestones reached, subscription purchases, and rewarded-ad views. Firebase Analytics may collect app-usage and interaction data, a device or installation identifier, and coarse (approximate) location derived from your IP address, in order to provide aggregated analytics about App usage and performance. For users in regions where consent is required (such as the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), analytics collection is enabled only after consent is given, and can be declined. Google Play (distribution and subscriptions): The App is distributed through Google Play, and the optional Garden Pro subscription is processed through Google Play's billing system. Information collected by these third-party services is used to display and measure advertising (AdMob), understand aggregated App usage and performance through analytics (Google Firebase / Google Analytics), support core app functionality (Unity), and process and manage the optional Garden Pro subscription (Google Play), in order to improve the App. We do not use your information to identify you personally.
The App is supported by ads, shown to users who do not subscribe to Garden Pro. Ads are served by Google AdMob. Depending on your settings and region, you may see personalized or non-personalized ads. You can control ad personalization through your device settings (for example, by resetting or deleting your advertising ID in your Android settings). Subscribers to Garden Pro do not see ads.
Garden Pro is an optional auto-renewing monthly subscription processed through Google Play. Payment is charged to your Google Play account. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. You can manage or cancel your subscription at any time through your Google Play account settings. We do not process or store any payment information.
The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or the equivalent minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us at support@likemelinkme.com and we will take appropriate steps.
We do not sell your personal information. Information is processed by the third-party services described above (Google AdMob, Google Firebase / Google Analytics, Unity, Google Play) under their own privacy policies. We do not share your information with other third parties except as required by law.
Garden Words stores your game data — including your garden, progress, streaks, and settings — locally on your device. This data is not stored on our servers.
To delete this data, simply uninstall the App from your device; doing so removes all locally stored game data.
